These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EventMap (the "Service"). By using EventMap you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
EventMap is a discovery platform that aggregates concerts, festivals, nightlife and cultural events on an interactive map and feed. Verified promoters may publish events subject to moderation. EventMap is not a ticket seller — all ticket purchases are completed on websites operated by independent third-party providers.
2. Accounts & User Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
- You agree to comply with all applicable laws while using the Service.
3. Promoter Responsibilities
Promoters who publish events warrant that they hold all necessary rights to the content they submit (text, images, ticket links), that event information is accurate and current, and that listings comply with our Acceptable Use Policy and Community Guidelines.
4. Event Moderation & Approval
All promoter-submitted events are subject to review. We may approve, edit, delay, reject, or remove any listing at our sole discretion, with or without notice, where content appears inaccurate, misleading, infringing, unsafe, or in breach of these Terms.
5. Subscriptions & Boosts
Paid features are sold by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Order process, billing, tax, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
6. Prohibited Content & Conduct
See the Acceptable Use Policy for the full list. You may not post fake events, fraudulent ticket links, spam, infringing material, hateful or illegal content, or attempt to disrupt, probe, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service.
7. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, branding, and original content, is owned by EventMap and protected by applicable IP law. You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute it solely to operate and promote the Service.
9. Third-Party Ticket Providers
Event details (price, time, venue, line-up, availability) are provided by third parties and may change without notice. EventMap is not responsible for the products, services, refunds, cancellations, or conduct of any third-party ticket provider, venue, or organizer. Always verify final information on the official ticket provider before purchase.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventMap's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
12. Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be notified through the Service or by email.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of Istanbul shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.
