EventMap respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same.
Ownership of User Content
Users retain ownership of the content they upload — including event descriptions, images and artwork. By posting content you grant EventMap a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the Service.
Takedown Requests
If you believe content on EventMap infringes your copyright or other intellectual property right, email eventmaptr.info@gmail.com with the following:
- Identification of the work claimed to be infringed.
- The exact URL(s) of the infringing material on EventMap.
- Your contact details (name, email, address, phone).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-Notice
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, send a counter-notice to the same address with a description of the removed content, its previous location, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
Repeat Infringers
Accounts that repeatedly infringe IP rights will be terminated.
